Jostens — Inventor & Creative Director

My Role
During the COVID-19 shutdown, when yearbook sales and traditions were at risk, I conceived and championed a virtual signing experience so students could sign one another’s yearbooks online. Partnered with the PE firm and Jostens executives, who backed the concept enthusiastically.

Process
Led an 8-week, time-crunched sprint of remote ideation and design using Mural to drive alignment and momentum. Orchestrated daily design and engineering collaboration; we designed, built, and launched the product working seven days a week and many late nights to meet the end-of-school window.

Outcomes (first 30 days post-launch)

  • 2.6M unique views

  • 5.3M sessions

  • 20M page views

  • 210k digital books created

  • 680k signatures submitted
The experience received national coverage and served millions of students across the U.S. and Canada.

What I’m Proud Of
Speed with quality, clear remote facilitation, and creating a joyful, inclusive alternative during a tough year.
